extends beyond just courteous service... EVERY aspect of the
destination and all that goes along with it is taken very seriously
by Mary and Roger – as if their lives depend on it.
The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are spectacular and the thought put into the entire experience is extremely impressive. Immediately upon arrival you already conclude you would like to find a way for Mary and Roger to go on and become true friends of yours. The attention to details – outside music, the goldfish pond, the personalized welcome note on a silver tray, the décor and design that puts Martha Stewart and Ralph Lauren to shame – all constitute a bed and breakfast experience that should be on everyone’s Bucket List." "Dear Mary & Roger,
Thank you for sharing this portion of your dream-come-to-life with me....WOW! Like I said before: I am in awe of what the two of you have built here on the SC hills. What a view! The artistry and the craftsmanship are truly unique. You have created multimedia works of art in their most grandiose form. Not only am I impressed with the details in the craftsmanship and artistry, but in the hospitality as well. From the small face towels for removing makeup, the cloths for wiping off the morning dew off the chairs to the coffee maker already being set up and ready to go -- and suggesting how much coffee to use in order to make the “perfect” cup. When I arrived, I told myself I would need some half and half for coffee in the mornings -- you had it. I meant to bring “real” sugar from home, but forgot it -- you didn’t. I've never had a peppermint patty as good as these you have. I didn't need one on this trip, but at one point I was thinking “the only thing missing is a full length mirror.” Looked in the hall closet and, yep, you had it covered. I just laughed. No, there was no roughing it here in the Huntbox. I was quite comfortable, definitely pampered and amply entertained. I enjoyed meeting you both, as well as your company. I came here for some peace and solitude, both of which I accomplished. Thanks again, Lisa" |

sitting in this lovely, ethereal room in front of the fire with rain
coming down in torrents outside. The Red Horse Inn has been a
heavenly experience.
We have stayed in many inns in different regions in our 21 years of marriage, and this one tops them all. Something rare and wonderful has come to “Dark Corner” as some call this area. You and your family own and maintain a beautiful piece of property. Your facility proved ideal for our purposes. Our accommodations were excellent, the food and service were extraordinarily good. It was important for our purposes to have a quiet and uninterrupted environment, whereby our work and discussions could be accomplished. Your Inn met and exceeded all our expectations and Christian's assistance with our computer technology problems was greatly appreciated. Also we enjoyed his presentation of wines at our cocktail party on Wednesday evening. Our plans are to return to your facility again for another meeting.
