The Red Horse Inn is the ultimate wedding venue in the Upstate of South Carolina. With views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, we are located just 45 minutes from Downtown Greenville, SC. It is the perfect location for a destination wedding reception or as a local wedding reception venue. With two spots on the property, the location and pricing can meet anyone’s budget and expectations. Both locations are considered outdoor locations. The Red Horse Inn provides the space, you provide the party. Professional wedding coordinators are required for all events. Valet may be required based on wedding size.
Experience a beautiful wedding reception for up to 100 people at the Main Inn. The Grand Terrace, Front Arbor, Wine Bar, and Reception Area (Wedding Venue) are will comfortably fit 100 people as an outdoor wedding location. Both the wedding ceremony and reception will take place outside on the Grand Terrace. With over 4,000 square feet of space, guests have plenty of personal space to enjoy the day’s event. In case of inclement weather, a tent will be necessary, so Mother Nature doesn’t rain on your parade.
The interior comfortably accommodated 60 people with cocktail tables. There are two restrooms in the Wine Bar. The stereo system may be used inside and out during your event.
To use the Main Inn as your event space for weddings under 50 guests, all 12 accommodations must be rented for the weekend (around $6,500 for the weekend). Wedding sizes 51 people and above do not require any accommodations to be rented.
In addition to the accommodations, the venue fee is based on the number of guests you choose to invite. You will have access to the Wedding Venue from 10:30 am until 10:30 pm on the day of your wedding.
The Event Venue fee allows the use of the venue during the rental time and the appropriate number of white folding garden chairs. It includes the chair set up and breakdown. All other rentals, catering, flowers, set up / clean-up are separate fees.
Catering is provided by The Hare and Hound. Pricing is based on the menu with prices starting at $25 per person. The bar service is provided by The Red Horse Inn and is based on the services you require. We do not serve liquor. All alcohol at the event must be purchased and served through The Red Horse Inn.
Our second location is the perfect outdoor wedding spot. Located in one of our upper fields, you will have the perfect spot to enjoy views of the mountains and include more people in your wedding. This spot can host up to a 150-person wedding and reception. With this location, you are not required to rent any of the rooms or cottages. This spot is perfect for couples looking to get married close to home and won't need overnight accommodations.
Like the other venue spot, you will have access to the wedding area (Upper Wedding Field) from 10:30 am until 10:30 pm. There are no structures there so a tent may be necessary in case of inclement weather. Outdoor portable bathrooms are included in the fee. The appropriate number of white folding garden chairs is included in the price. The cost to tent the area is an additional fee based on wedding size. Sorry, but you and your guests will not have access to the Main Inn for this event.
