The Gable

The Gable Bedroom is our most sought-after room and is known for its dramatic views. Located in the northwest corner of the Inn, each window holds a gorgeous mountain view. The window seats will invite you to curl into the cubby with the soft oversized pillows and gaze out to the Blue Ridge Mountains. Decorated in soft greens of velvet, satin, and cotton, it is sophisticated, yet understated. The king-size bed is draped with sheer fabric, adding an element of pure romance. Enjoy the fireplace from the bed or gaze out to the balcony where tomorrow morning you can savor your breakfast which awaits you in your kitchen closet.

The oversized bathroom holds the whirlpool tub, the perfect spot to relax after a day of trail climbing to the waterfalls.

This room has some of the best views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and is the perfect room to sit on your private balcony and enjoy the live music at the Wine bar. 

The Wine Bar is directly off the Gable Room's private balcony. The Wine Bar is open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 5-9. If you prefer more privacy, please look at one of the cottages. If you want a "box seat" for the sunset music series, this is the perfect spot!

Daily Housekeeping is not provided in any accommodation. Call for trash pickup or towels at no expense. 

If you don't like dogs, please consider booking one of the non-pet-friendly cottages. My dogs are often outside greeting guests and playing so you will see them. The Wine Bar is dog-friendly, so even if my dogs are inside, other guests may have brought their dogs.
