This fall, give your relationship a weekend to breathe.
Set among 200 peaceful acres at The Red Horse Inn, Falling Deeper in Awe is an intimate couples retreat designed to help you slow down, reconnect, and delight in the life you are growing together.
This is not about fixing your relationship. It is about experiencing it.
Space is intentionally limited to 10 accommodations / 20 guests.
Your retreat package includes a two-night stay at The Red Horse Inn for two guests, with time to rest, reconnect, and enjoy the beauty of the season.
Every meal is thoughtfully designed around the warmth and abundance of the fall harvest.
Gentle, meaningful experiences invite you to reconnect with yourself, your partner, and the natural world.
Nestled among the rolling foothills at The Red Horse Inn, this immersive retreat embraces the beauty of the property as both a destination and a space for inspiration and deeper connection.
Throughout the weekend, you’ll be invited to slow your pace, awaken your senses, wander private trails, share beautiful meals, and experience the quiet wonder that comes from being fully present.
The Red Horse Inn is excited to partner with Jessica Lee Reader, Allison Wolters Counseling, and House 509 for a weekend thoughtfully curated around rest, connection, nourishment, playfulness, and delight.
Your weekend begins with arrival at The Red Horse Inn and time to settle into your room or cottage.
That evening, couples will gather for a beautifully curated welcome wine dinner created in partnership with House 509 and The Red Horse Inn Wine Bar, celebrating the flavors of the season and the joy of gathering around the table with intention.
As evening settles over the mountains, guests will be invited to enjoy the Grand Terrace, the Wine Bar, and the quiet beauty of the autumn sky.
Begin the morning with breakfast in bed before gathering for gentle yoga and restorative sound healing led by Allison and Jessica.
The day continues with a guided forest bathing hike and riverside mindfulness experience along the Middle Tyger River. Couples will be invited to slow their pace, engage their senses, reflect, journal, and reconnect with one another through simple, meaningful practices.
As evening approaches, couples will pick up their romantic picnic dinner and wine, then choose a private place on the property to enjoy it together. After dinner, the evening continues with Wine on the Terrace and live music by Sarah Clanton.
Your final morning begins with breakfast in bed followed by yoga, meditation, and sound healing.
The weekend then moves into the guided “Fill Your Cup” garden experience. Couples will gather fresh herbs, flowers, and seasonal abundance as a symbolic invitation to notice what nourishes them individually and what they intentionally offer to one another.
The retreat concludes with a thoughtfully prepared closing lunch on the Terrace before departure.
The weekend is centered around the abundance, warmth, and beauty of the fall harvest.
Friday evening features a formal welcome wine dinner prepared by House 509, with seasonal flavors designed to create a memorable opening experience.
Saturday evening offers a romantic picnic-style dinner with wine, giving each couple time to enjoy a private date-night moment in one of the property’s scenic settings before gathering for live music.
Throughout the weekend, meals are designed to nourish both body and soul, with seasonal breakfasts, thoughtful lunches, elevated dinners, and wine pairings woven into the experience.
The retreat’s dinner experiences will be prepared by House 509 Bistro & Wine Bar, led by Chef Guichard “Chef G” Ulysse, 2026 South Carolina Chef Ambassador.
Chef G is a Haitian-born chef whose culinary work blends culture, technique, and community through food. Raised in Haiti, he learned to cook alongside his mother, where he first experienced how food can bring people together and preserve heritage.
His culinary voice is rooted in heritage, driven by innovation, and guided by excellence, creating meals that feel like experiences of culture, connection, and celebration.
Jessica Lee Reader is an Integrative Nutritionist, Board-Certified Health Coach, and Somatic Yoga Teacher with over 17 years of experience supporting individuals in restoring energy, reducing stress, and improving overall well-being.
Her work blends integrative nutrition, nervous system support, and somatic practices to help people move out of chronic stress patterns and reconnect with a more grounded, resilient state of health.
During the retreat, Jessica will guide somatic movement sessions, gentle nervous system practices, and mindful nourishment experiences designed to help you unwind, restore, and reconnect with your body in a meaningful way.
Allison Wolters is a Licensed Professional Counselor, nature-based therapist, yoga teacher, and owner of Allison Wolters Counseling.
Her work is rooted in the belief that healing and growth are not separate from nature. They unfold through the same rhythms of presence, intention, and continual care.
Drawing from somatic therapy, mindfulness, nervous system regulation, yoga, and nature-based practices, Allison creates experiences that invite people to slow down, reconnect with their bodies, and engage with life more intentionally.
Her hope is that each couple leaves the weekend with renewed appreciation for one another, practical tools to nurture their relationship, and a deeper sense of awe for the life they are intentionally growing together.
Falling Deeper in Awe is not a classroom-style retreat.
It is not a packed conference schedule.
It is not about putting your relationship under a microscope.
It is a romantic, restorative, sensory-rich weekend designed around experience.
You will eat beautifully. Move gently. Walk slowly. Listen deeply. Laugh. Rest. Explore. Share. Wander. Notice. Remember.
